Should you get this Clash T Shirt or not, if you do you won’t pay double and if you don’t it won’t be any trouble. This T Shirt is our little tribute the fantastic should I stay or should now by The Clash. Can you believe this was the band’s only ever number one and that came a decade after it was originally released? The vocals by Mick Jones are actually about his rocky relationship with singer Ellen Foley which was about to implode. The backing vocals by Joe Strummer were at the last minute changed to Spanish. At the time of recording in the United States the only person they knew with Spanish connections was tape operator Eddie Garcia, who phoned his mum and translated the words. Eddie’s mother was actually Ecuadorian so the backing vocals are actually in Ecuadorian Spanish. Enough of the history lesson enjoys the T Shirt and video
