My Chemical Romance T-shirts
New Jersey is a hotbed for musical talent and none more talented recently than the incredible My Chemical Romance. Formed in 2001 by Gerard Way and Matt Pelissier, the band has undergone a few line up changes and now has Way on vocals, ray Toro lead guitar, Frank Lero Guitar, Mikey Way Bass and Bob Bryar drums.
Soon after coming together the band signed to Eyeball Records and released their debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love and whilst wasn’t a huge hit it did get them signed to Reprise Records and the following year they released their first major label album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. The album was a colossal success selling over 2 million copies mainly due the great hits such as Helena; I’m Not Okay and The Ghost of You.
They followed that success up with The Black Parade and have gone from strength to strength with a following all over the world. They define themselves as rock others prefer to take a stab at pigeon holing them in any sub genre they can think of we just think they’re great and so do you!
